Jim Blizzard


Jim Blizzard is the Developer Solution Specialist for Microsoft in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, and is based out of Tampa, Florida. Jim worked previously for Microsoft Consulting Services in the application development space, focusing on web and smart client development, and was a Developer Evangelist for Microsoft, spreading the good news of .NET to the masses in the Pacific Northwest.
Colin Borrowman


Colin Borrowman is a Senior Architect / Lead Developer for docStar, a division of Astria Solutions Group. With docStar since 1996, Colin directed a team of developers to build one of the leading document imaging and document management platforms on the market today. Colin created the patent pending “AuthentiDate Image Marking Mechanism” providing document content authenticity. This lead to the creation of a new company partnered with the United States Postal Service, to provide services to medical and healthcare companies. Although the corporate office exists in upstate New York, Colin now calls sunny Tampa home and is currently leading a small team to develop hosted document management solutions using SharePoint, .NET and C#.
Joe Briatico

Joe Brinkman


Joe Brinkman (MVP) is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of DotNetNuke Corp. With over 22 years of IT experience and a Computer Science degree from the United States Naval Academy, he brings broad experience in a variety of software and hardware architectures. Joe was the CTO for DataSource Inc. where he led the development of Jetson, a J2EE development tool that automated many of the difficult tasks with creating and deploying EJB-based applications. Joe has also co-authored two popular books on DotNetNuke, and is currently working on a third. His areas of focus on the team include business strategy, technology architecture, and advanced technology development.

Scott Dorman


Scott has been involved with computers in one way or another for as long as he can remember, but started professionally in 1993. After spending 6 years as a systems administrator, Scott branched out and started developing eCommerce store fronts. From there, he has worked on many different projects and has been working with .NET and C# since 2001.

He has worked at Fortune 500 companies and privately held start-ups focused on IT consulting where he gained experience in embedded systems design and software development to systems administration and database programming, and everything in between.

Although his primary focus right now is commercial software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, he prefers building infrastructure components, reusable shared libraries and helping companies define, develop and automate process standards and guidelines.
Wes Dumey


Wes Dumey is a Senior Consultant with Durable Impact Consulting, a business intelligence and data warehouse consulting firm.  He is a well-known speaker throughout the Florida region presenting sessions on data warehousing and ETL processes.  His main interests are data warehousing and high performance ETL, and as a break from the never ending world of computers, Wes is completing a Masters degree in Economics at the University of South Florida and is happy to talk economics, data warehousing, or aviation. 
Stu Ellerbusch


Stu is a Senior Staff Developer at an Orlando FL based fortune 100 company and specializes in intranet & smart client development for business applications.  Stu has 10 years of software development experience, 7 years of C# development experience, and is currently working on his Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.  Stu currently holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems.

Jamie Haddock


Jamie Haddock has twenty years of software development experience with mainframes and PCs. Jamie has a Master's of Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from Pace University. Jamie enjoys all things related to .NET with his most recent undertaking being an application that uses automation named inTriever. Jamie has also filed for a patent for the technology he invented to create a new type of program called a Retriever. Retrievers are programs that provide a single UI for submitting end user queries concurrently to any number and type of data driven websites. Jamie also helped Jeffrey Richter with the creation and editing of "Clr via C#" (Microsoft Press). Jamie is currently based out of Connecticut and is looking to relocate to the Orlando area.
Darrell Hardy


Darrell Hardy has been designing and building data driven applications for over 20 years.  Having spent several years in management consulting, he brings to the table not only technical expertise but also an understanding of the business side of the equation.  His passion is for software that matches business processes and allows for improvements in those processes.  Currently Darrell is the Vice President of Hardy Consulting, Inc.  and manages several domestic and international accounts.
Marshall Harrison


I am a software developer for Gold Systems where I specialize in designing and implementing speech based solutions involving the latest in speech technology. I am one of the two founders of GotSpeech.Net and  the administrator for the community. I also serve as an unofficial evangelist for Microsoft Speech Server and seek every opportunity to promote the technology. I have been developing applications with MSS for over four years becoming involved as an Early Adopter of MSS while it was still in beta and have participated in the TAP programs for each new version of Speech Server as well as Office Communications Server.

I was awarded Microsoft MVP on 07/01/06 and I'm the only person to achieve that award for Microsoft Speech Server. In November of 2006 my MVP competency was changed to Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS).

Jeremy Huckeba is a Sr. Information Solutions Developer for the national engineering firm PBS&J specializing in Microsoft and ESRI products and technologies.  Jeremy has over 11 years of experience architecting and developing web and windows applications for clients including Orange County Utilities, US Army Corps of Engineers, and Florida's Turnpike Enterprise.

Kathy Malone


ManGuard Systems, Inc. has been a vertical market, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) solutions (software) company for 26 years. We have developed applications that have been acknowledged as “best practice” in the EH&S. Kathy started the business originally as a consulting business, recognized the need for software to perform those functions, and it became a case of “the tail wagging the dog”. Kathy started in a mile-square automotive plant (cast engines at one end, drive cars off the line at the other) performing on paper the functions that became the software. She is obsessive about combining accuracy (can you say EPA and OSHA) and workflow efficiency. She has participated in consulting projects addressing enterprise design and workflow as well as overseeing design, build, and implementation of specific functional modules for the ManGuard software down to the single user level. In the business since dual floppy disk PC’s started to replace mainframe timeshare applications, their code has been rebuilt 7 times so far to reflect changing technology, with another rebuild in progress.

Dave Noderer


CEO / President and founder of Computer Ways, Inc., a Microsoft Partner. Mr. Noderer holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology with graduate and continuing education courses from University of Rochester and Northeastern University. He spent over 20 years designing multiprocessor computers, writing microcode and managing projects before starting Computer Ways, Inc. in 1994.

Dave is a Microsoft MVP and is very active in .net User Group communities. He spent 3 years as an officer and director of INETA (International .NET Association) where he oversaw the enrollment and support of hundreds of user groups worldwide. For the past eight years he has been running the Florida .NET User groups currently meeting in Ft Lauderdale, Miramar and West Palm plus a very successful annual South Florida Code Camp which attracted over 600 developers when held in 2008.

He has also been involved in community activities over the years participating in and helping organize and plan leadership programs in both Ft Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach. Randy Patterson has spent over 15 years as a software developer and is currently working for Catapult Systems as a Senior Lead Consultant.  He also started the Tampa .NET Users group in 2000 when .NET was in beta and is currently helping to start the International Association of Software Architects, Tampa Chapter.
Bill Reiss


Bill Reiss is a Tampa based XNA Game Studio MVP and has also been very active in the Silverlight community since the product's inception. Bill presents to user groups, schools, and other groups on XNA and Silverlight topics, and provides XNA and Silverlight tutorials and sample projects on his Blue Rose Games site. Diego Samuilov has worked in Microsoft's environments since he started his professional career in 1990.
